New Year.....New Outlook

So I appreciate I am a little slow on the uptake to get round to posting about saying goodbye to 2012 and embracing what 2013 might be but hey.....I'm now round to it. As I said before I would like to think that I don't need a new year to help me make resolutions for change for the better but I can't deny that welcoming in a new year can't help but make me feel a little like 'a change is going to happen'. I welcome the feeling that I want things to improve for the better.

So this year I'm not making resolutions as it were, but hoping to change small outlooks I have on aspects of my life. One of the biggest changes I want to make it to be more proactive in all aspects of my life, seeking change and improvement in small ways. I'm pretty content at the moment but I want to push myself to try new things and take on new challenges. I already know that I'm going to come across some hard times this year, they are already in the pipeline but I want to make sure I'm ready for them when they happen.

So in brief what am I hoping to achieve in the next 12 months which I'm sure will fly by as fast as the last 12 did:

1. Write on this blog more frequently and make it into something with a focus rather than the rambles it has been so far

2. Wear a lip colour almost everyday, whilst at the same time wearing less foundation. I have that many lipsticks I may as well wear them right?!

3. Focus more of my time and efforts on my career

4. Run a 5k by August and aim for a 10k in December (this really is a challenge I am not built for running)

5. Spend more time at home, sometimes I socialise a little too much and need to have more focus on what's important and will get me somewhere.

6. Loose at least 1 more stone

7. Get to the gym at least 3 times a week

8. Be more money conscious so that I can go on an amazing holiday in December, I really want to learn to snowboard.

9. Spend more time in London with my sister so she has a good excuse to take some time off work.

10. Being all together more positive and appreciative of what is in my life instead of what is not.
