5 things I'm feeling right now

The time has come again for another 5 things I'm feeling right now. I'm actually in quite high spirits at the moment so I'm 'feeling' 'digging' (any other term of endearment) a fair few things right now.

1. My new Fat Face bed socks.

These little beauties are soooo darn comfy. I was so gratefully gifted them over Christmas and although I would have never thought to actually buy them myself, I cant quite believe how I managed without. They are super cute on the outside and I love the pompoms on the side, but the inside lining is where the magic happens as they are fleece lined and gorgeous. Nothing better than popping these toasties on when the house is freezing.

2. Jo Malone Pomegranate Noir

I was also gifted this by the same amazing person as aforementioned socks. Have they got me to a T, I think so!! I know I'm one lucky bugger aren't I?! Anyway about this perfume. What to say? Its bloody fantastic for starters. The scent is so warm and comforting, it lasts for hours as you would expect from a high end perfume, and it's unlike any other fragrance I have smelt.  I have had a number of compliments on this already and I've only worn it a handful of times. I dread the day when it runs out, but I can guarantee I will have to buy myself a new one.

3. Mindy Kaling's book 'Is everyone hanging out without me?'

This book had me in absolute stitches by the second page. It's almost as if Mindy got inside my head and wrote down pretty much all the things I have ever thought about. I'm pretty sure if any 20/30 something reads it they will agree with me though. This book is light hearted and easy to read and a real good pick me up when you could do with a little giggle to yourself so I recommend it to all the girls out there, and the guys too if you want to do a bit of 'research'.

4. My New Diary

In an ever relentless bid to become more organised I have bought a new diary as I often do in the New Year. I'm going to try and write in this diary for at least 2 months, just cant seem to break that cycle of forgetting about it as soon as it becomes a little scuffed at the bottom of my bag.  In all seriousness I bought it to become better at developing this blog, becoming more organised in my personal life etc etc. It's also quite cute to look at, nothing like a pen and paper, cant be doing with my phone calendar.

4. The New Year Buzz

Although we know that January and February can be pretty miserable months, bad weather, dark mornings and post Christmas blues, I am quite loving the sense of excitement and anticipation I have for 2014. As I mentioned in a previous post, I don't have strict resolutions this year instead I have a handful of hopes for the next 12 months. I could never have anticipated last year to pan out the way it did, the good, the bad and the downright awful but it lead me to where I am today and right now that's just fine by me. So, 2014, I'M READY FOR YOU!!
