5 Things I'm feeling right now

This weeks five things, again in no particular order

1. Bombay Bicycle Club - So Long, See You Tomorrow

I honestly can't say I have ever been that bothered by this band. When there stuff has come on the radio I have liked it but never enough to press the download key and have it on my trusty (or not so trusty) Iphone.
This new album however is crazy good. Some of the tunes are so catchy and there is a little bit of a funk thing going on which makes me want to jig about when I hear it. All in all this is my flavour of the week and I'm loving it, if you haven't listened yet, give it a go, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

2. Brighton Tattoo Convention

This past weekend Samuel and I visited Brighton specifically for this convention and I wasn't disappointed. I had been to conventions in the past and thought that although interesting there wasn't enough to keep me interested and warrant the £25 day ticket price, but this convention was just awesome. We visited mainly because Sams artist was there from The Family Business in London and we wanted to snoop out other talent, and there was LOADS! It really was a great way to spend the day and Samuel even treated himself to an old school barbershop haircut which was pretty cool too. A blog is coming soon about our little trip to Brighton but for the time being I will say that even if tattoos aren't completely your thing this was a great day out and you should definitely keep it on the radar for next year.

3. Tattoollery Jewellery

I have found this absolute gem of a company when using good old Instagram. They liked on of my images which lead me to looking at their page. This company make signet rings and other jewellery based on tattoo designs and I am desperate to get myself one with an old school woman on much like Sams tattoo. The prices seem really reasonable considering you will have a custom piece of jewellery. Check out their website and give them a follow on twitter. The saving for my very own ring has already begun.

4. Tangle Teaser

Oh you awesome little creation you!! I would be absolutely lost without my tangle teaser, I've never really had long hair before and growing it is causing me a lot of frustration. Mainly because it takes an absolute age to dry, style etc and the knots....oh the knots!! Sometimes I swear I could take scissors to it and chop the lot of, but all I need to do is reach for my little tangle teaser and the tears and tantrums soon stop.

5. The Sun

Having spent all most of the last few weeks wrapped up with umbrella very close by my side, it was so nice to see some sunshine on Sunday. Such a beautiful morning that I could actually walk outside without a coat on, hoooorah!! So yeah, I'm loving the sun even though it only graced us with its presence briefly. Bring on Summer 2014 and some vitamin D please.
