Remington C195 Pearl Curling Wand Review

This is my first review post so go lightly with me!

I thought I would share with you my experience with using the much talked about Remington Pearl Curling Wand. I'll start by saying this is my new favorite hair tool!! I assume I will have a similar love affair with this thing to that of my GHDs, without which I would look like stig of the dump on the daily. Anyone who knows me or follows me on Instagram will know that my hair is my pride and joy. I can't get enough of trying out new styles, chopping it off, dying it, the whole lot. Naturally I have wavy, really thick hair. Over the years it has been dyed to within an inch of its life, but for the past couple of years or so I have kept (my version) of a natural blond colour but it is still quite colour damaged.

As far as my hair is concerned I live by the rules 'The bigger the better'! The closer I can get my hair looking like that of Diana Ross circa 1970's the better. And this hair wand gets me there so much quicker than using my faithful GHDs to tease in some curls.

For the picture below I tell no lies I must have spent a maximum of 15 minutes using the wand to exaggerate some of my existing curls and I LOVE LOVE LOVE the results. I appreciate some people may think that this look is a little dated but it's my new fave and a staple for when I can't be bothered to spend much time on my hair (most days, I wont lie)

The wand is so easy to use, and curls each section super fast as it reaches 200 degrees in roughly 30 seconds from switching them on. In my experience the curls last all day and I am pretty confident that with a little help from hairspray, even if your hair was fine and straight these curls would stay put for some time. The only thing I would say is that you need to be super careful when handling the wand when it is on. This tool almost doubles up as a dangerous weapon. I am a little heavy handed I'll admit that, but I'm yet to master using it without burning my hand in some way, so watch out ladies.

But if its awesome curls you want in a matter of minutes spend roughly £20 on this beauty and you won't be disappointed. If you are, blame me!

Apologies for the hideous camera quality, one of these days I will be able to get my hands on something a little more "profesh".
