Loving Latitude

Last time I posted I mentioned I was going to Latitude with work. Well it came and went, and in between it was pretty darn fantastic. The weather was so close to perfect which made my job all the more easy. Thank you Mr Weatherman. While I was there it wasn't all about work, I actually managed to catch my favourite artist of the past couple of years....the one and only Kwabs. This intimate little performance was everything I had hoped for and more. This guy has one of the most soulful voices of the moment, in fact I'll put it out there, the last 10 years, and to boot he has some killer moves on him which meant his performance was all the more mesmerising. So thankful now that I am going to see him in October this year, if that was just the taster and I can''t wait to see what else he has up his sleeve.

It's also worth sharing with you how amazing camping with PodPads is. This year we chose to camp in a bellepad and it was bloody fantastic. The whole PodPad section of camping was quite something to see, with cute little huts and amazing looking teepees. The staff we incredibly helpful and the facilities were second to non, super clean toilets, fully functioning showers and even a blow-dry bar. In fairness it isn't the genuine festival experience camping but its the only one I'm going to do :)

As I may have mentioned this week I started a new job with a new company (more on that in my next post) so unfortunately no working festivals throughout the summer for me, but I can say for certain that I will be trying to visit latitude next year as a paying punter, its such a lovely festival with so much to see and do and I cant wait. If you haven't been I highly recommend it.
