Air B&B WIN: A Welsh Retreat

This past weekend Scottish and I stayed in one of the most rural of retreats deep in the Welsh valleys. I booked the break some months ago and it came around just at the right time. Little did we know that this retreat would be over 3.5hrs drive away but it was well worth it by the time we got there. I have never known such a beautiful vast open space in England.
I found this hideaway on Air B&B and it was everything I had imagined and more, described as a working farm project, deep in the valleys, I don't think I had really thought about just how secluded this place would be. surrounded by deep forests, streams, waterfalls and wildlife.
There was no TV so it was a great opportunity to play some board games, go for walks and take in all that nature had to offer. I even learnt how to play chess.....badly, but still!

I will let the pictures do the talking and if you want to find out more about the place, click here. Sharon and Mark are the friendliest of hosts and I can't recommend the place enough!

Fresh produce from the farm :)
 Rustic fire in the cottage
