September Goals

September has rolled around bloody fast hey! I know I'm a day late with this whole monthly goals thing but hey what's a day between friends right?

So we have a whole 28 days left in September but what do I aim to do in these sacred days? Well it's a busy month with leaving work, going on holiday and beginning my new role. It's going to be a whirl wind. But what are my goals? Ah I have a few....

  • Leave my current role without regrets or tears. Must. Be. Strong. I'm determined to be excited about what the future holds.
  • Enjoy my holiday without worrying about my figure all the time. There is not a summer that has gone by where I haven't worried about what I look like. Even when I was 5 stone lighter I still felt uncomfortable. This year I want to enjoy myself and appreciate that the world isn't going to end just because I'm in swimwear in public.
  • Stop spending the dolla. Because of when I handed in my notice and the fact I'm going on holiday I miss a couple of weeks pay, which means no mindless spending and a little thrifty thinking. I love a good challenge.
  • Walk into my new role confident and with minimal self doubt. New jobs and first days are nerve racking but we are all human aren't we. I need to work on my resting bitch face and embrace the exciting adventure ahead.
  • Find more recipes for using my blender and get making some gorgeous grub. I need to invite the girls over and have a good reason to put on a spread. We love a good spread.
  • Nail the wedding dance. I'm headed to the wedding of one of my oldest friends this weekend and we have a little surprise in store. Hopefully with a little Dutch courage we will nail it and impress all the other wedding goers.
  • It's my birthday next month and I usually start thinking about it in August so I'm aiming to sort a little get together for my birthday as I've never really done anything for it before. A celebration of the fact I'm edging nearer and nearer to the big old 3 0 and I don't remotely have my shit together.
What are you all planning for September?
